In case of being working an eight-hour a day, make-up artist should earn approximately £192 and £211. At the same time a chief make-up artist should earn approximately £317 and £379 a day.
Entry for adults Mature applicants are always welcome. Requirements for an academic entry are not always enforced for mature students. It is especially in case they have relevant skills or experience.
Training In general training is placed at the work. University and college courses include work placements and practical assessment alongside academic work.
For new entrants FT2 offer a technical training program. This program is including placements in professional productions and workshops.
The Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority offers career and training recommendations. The National Association of Screen Make-Up Artists and Hairdressers work with membership scheme. Also it provides opportunities for artists to continue to develop their skills.
