| Electrical and Electronics Engineer | The duties of electrical and electronics engineers are to design, develop, test and supervise the manufacture of electrical and electronic equipment, such as global positioning systems, electric power generators, broadcast and communications systems; electric motors, machinery controls, lighting, and wiring in buildings, automobiles, aircraft, and radar and navigation systems; and power generating, controlling, and transmission devices applied by electric utilities. Electrical and electronics engineers are frequently engaged in spheres these specialists are closely connected in the sphere of computers.
 Other possible spheres of electrical and electronics engineers’ engagement are power generation, transmission and distribution; communications and electrical equipment manufacturing. The work in one of these spheres such as industrial robot control systems or aviation electronics is also possible. Such specialists design new products, write performance requirements, develop maintenance schedules, test equipment, solve operating problems and estimate project time and cost.
Electrical and electronics engineers need to be able to work well as part of a team. The ability to communicate in writing and orally is also demanded, because they communicate with many non-engineering specialists in various spheres. Besides, they should possess such qualities as being analytical, creative, detail-oriented and inquisitive.
It was observed that those, who have bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering, receive less salary comparing with those, who have master's degree.
Although there is constant demand for electrical and electronics goods, there is foreign competition that hinders the increase in the quantity of these specialists. The amount of graduates in electrical and electronics engineering is almost the same as the amount of job vacancies for them. There are more vacancies in such services industries, as consulting firms that are responsible for electronic engineering expertise.
