| Career Development Theories Changing |  The fact is that the main idea of a career development theory is to help to choose right career in relation to the present time and also the career should be appropriate for several more years into the future. As it is generally said, change is the only constant. A career development theory has to develop like the world that always evolves.
It goes without saying that a career development theory helps people in understanding themselves and their goals as well as skillfulness and preferred career path to find a suitable combination. It is important that the career development theory pays great attention to the likes as well as dislikes of a person as these certainly influence the career choices. For instance, a young person may decide to become a veterinary doctor as he/she enjoys animals. So this person needs to go studying further after school, sign up for some relevant courses and train before going into work.
There exist other career development theories that may give the explanation to career development for the poor, people in minority, women and so on. Each career development theory explanation and career choice depend on each individual’s different needs, level of wealth, race or sex.
