| The System of Awards | The system of awards is generally analogous to the systems of many universities of European countries and USA:
- Associate Degree – 2 years
- Bachelor Degree – 3 to 4 years
- Graduate Certificate – 6 months
- Graduate Diploma – 12 months
- Masters Degree – 1 to 2 years
- Doctoral Degree – 3 to 5 years
Universities also propose Vocational Graduate Certificates, which engage the development of exact professional knowledge and abilities.
Qualifications are accredited under the Australian Qualifications Framework, which is supervised by the Australian Government. This makes transferance among courses and institutions easier, and also makes sure a certain standard for every qualification.
