Frequently the higher cost of studying abroad discourages students from looking at foreign universities. The whole price of four years of undergraduate study maybe followed by a master’s degree could be excessive for many aspirants. Few universities present scholarships to undergraduate students.
There are some factors to consider before choosing the undergraduate study abroad:
1. Students must formulate their medium and long-term goals. The subject they want to study is the leading topic they must decide. Include plans, if any, of post-graduate study. If students would rather get on a professional career then this must also be in their plans. Another factor is whether they plan to instantly return to their country or continue their endeavors abroad.
 2. Students must check if it would be more cost-effective to finish their undergraduate study in their country and opt for a postgraduate degree abroad. If this is not the case then by all means they should go abroad and study.
3. They should research the cost of studying in foreign countries. This engages doing a country-wise search and then researching the cost difference in institutes in every country. If their parents will fund their study or they are considering a loan, it is best to discuss with them the amount they are ready to commit to a student’s foreign education.
